Great Camera, while it lasts. September 5, 2010 G. S. Davis (Cincinnati, OH) This camera can take some wonderful pictures, and the clarity is awesome. The panorama option is also very cool. However the battery life is awful, it seems I can only get 50 pictures in before the camera is dead. Apparently when it isn;t in use the battery also drains, as my camera had half a charge yesterday, but is now dead and it was off and on my table. If you choose it, you won't regret it just get a back up battery.
Cool Camera September 2, 2010 C. Dinakar (Presently in Dallas, TX) After looking at various options, I zeroed on this camera. It is a very small in size, easily fits into a pocket or a compact purse. The pictures are sharp and clear. The bonus on this camera which a lot of others do not have is the panoramic shot. It takes only a couple of tries to get it right and it becomes a breeze. I got some awesome panoramic shots of the Niagara Falls, getting the falls in a continuous shot. Would recommend it highly for the small size, crisp pictures and the panoramic shots.
Took back August 19, 2010 jeres 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
My husband bought me this camera for my birthday. After almost 3 months of feeling like I would "get used to it" or "maybe if I read the instruction manual one more time.." I took it back (thanks to Costco's liberal return policy). The two main reasons I didn't like it were: the shutter speed was really slow and right after you take a picture, it only shows it on the screen for like 2 seconds, not enough time to see if you got a good picture. If you are just a point and shoot type like me, this camera is not for you.
Great Point and Shoot Camera July 27, 2010 SailorSquirrel 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I wanted a Sony camera that was small but took great photos. This is a great, easy to use camera! It is probaly the best camera in it's price range. It also takes great HD movie clips. If you want a small point and shoot camera for under $200 get this one.
Great Portable Camera July 6, 2010 Taurino 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
PROS: The pictures quality are very neat , but can be determinated by the luminity, the brighter the better, but if objects don't move with few light you get better results , true colors, very portable, HD video is amaizing, SD compatibility, MP4 video format is a standard many coders use it.
CONS: Some times take a while to focus while you are recording, an extra backup battery is desireble.
