Very nice product July 26, 2010 M. Reeves (Johnson City Tennessee) I bought this as a gift for my brother, he thinks the sound is great and the player is easy to use.
Good sound and quite durable July 22, 2010 Hiro I have been using this for a year and it's quite durable and sounds very good. I treat it roughly for daily use putting in my bag and commute for 2 hours go and back almost everyday. But it didn't get even a scratch and still working perfectly. I am using rechargeable batteries for it, so I don't have to worry about the battery life and costs of them, and environmental friendliness. Since Sony Japan has already stopped making high end portable cd players, this is the highest model available in the market now. I have a few high end models of CD Walkman, but for a portable use, listening to music outside, sound quality of this is good enough, better than almost all mp3 players even listening to the same mp3 sources. You can encode your favorite CD's with lame insane 320 without worrying about its capacity limit. I recommend to use good headphone (HD25, ER4P, etc) with it and listing to your CD's, then it would be almost same as you are bringing out a decent audio set which may cost 100x more.
Don't buy this... July 6, 2010 margie (Floral Park, NY USA) I have used this exactly twice and in that time have listened to about 2 cds. The battery had to be replaced and the controls already don't work. I have always bought Sony, but will now be hesitant. I didn't open the package for a few months, so it was too late to return it.
It is made very cheaply.
Very nice CD player June 29, 2010 Susan I purchased this CD player so I could listen to MP3s. This player has Sony quality! The battery life is very good. I listen to audio books while at work, usually three hours at a time with no battery loss. The controls are a bit tricky when using MP3's so read the instructions carefully. After you master the functions, the player is a joy. Sound quality is perfect for both speaking MP3's and music CD's. I carry the player on my belt so it gets bumped around while I am working. Still, there are no skips in the audio. Totally worth the price.
Marvelous CD/MP3/FM player June 1, 2010 The Captain 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this device to replace an old cd player I had that had the resume feature. I listen to books on disc during my commute. It is almost impossible to find a player with the resume..or start back up where I left off..feature. This one has it. I love the little remote button. Great product.
