Not Worth Free July 29, 2010 kanye nue (NY) I got these bundled with my iPhone, and even free they're not worth it. They're an uncomfortable shape (ears are not perfect circles, not human ones anyway. Maybe Apple engineers have round ears.) They fall out of my ear when I'm running and even when I lay down on my back, head on the pillow they fall out. The sound is okay, standard headphone fare there.
It's nice to have volume control and mic built in, but it's still missing music controls like next/last song buttons.
does what it says July 28, 2010 J. Gaetani I ordered a pair of these and received them a week later. The voice activation did not work and nobody could hear me on the phone. I sent the merchant an email and they promptly sent out a new pair. I received them a week later and they work perfectly.
Shipping was a little slow, but customer service seemed great.
DOESN'T work July 28, 2010 superom (MN) Indeed it was a genuine Apple product. However the MIC did not work at all. I had to go to a REAL Apple store in town and exchange this pair for a working one. APPLE did not charge me for that. Kudos for APPLE.
I would not recommend Merceninc company that resells Apple products.
Not for Runners July 26, 2010 K. Donath (LaFayette, NY USA) The ability to control the iTouch remotely through the remote control is fantastic, especially as a runner, I just wish the product could last longer for the price that I paid. Sweat seems to get into either the ear bud or the control and then causes skipping, start/stopping, or speeds up the track - all without warning. The ear buds seem to last about 6-9 months, then start having problems.
Disappointed July 23, 2010 Beachboy (Florida) When I first started using the item it worked great, but after using it for a couple of weeks I couln't increase or decrease the volume, it would shut off. I had to turn my ipod off and turn it on again for it to work.
