An amazing mouse for any use! July 12, 2010 Christopher A. Zuzek (Marcus Hook, Pa) I am not a hardcore gamer, I enjoy playing games whenever I have free time and do not feel like reading or drawing. I use a Magic Mouse (I have a Mac) and it was just not cutting it for games, especially when I joined my first MMORPG.
I looked and looked for a mouse like this one and this was th eonly one I found. It is pricey but it was also exactly what I was looking for.
I receieved it and opened it up and fell in love at first sight! Ergonomically it feels great in your hand, the cord is a decent size and strony(it will not be breaking any time soon). The buttons are placed well, though the two buttons right next to the Left Click are oddly placed, I have yet to use those successfully.
The only disappointment was finding out that the Mouse had two setting for the twelve buttons on the side, one of them being the number grid(1 to 9/0, - and = buttons).
I decided to go on line, downloaded the newest drivers and wallah! Full customization for the mouse pad! You can pull up a small program and design the button system to your own settings. It definitely has a learning curve but you can asign any key or macro to the twelve buttons on the side and the two towards the top. It lets you use all skills with one hand while your left controls the arrow buttons or any other buttons you could not get onto the 14 available keys on the mouse.
There is no downside to this mouse save for possibly the price. It feels like a quality product from the mouse to the cord to the USB connections. I humbly believe it is worth the price, it is a high quality product!
This is great coupled with the Razer ProSolutions Pro Mouse Pad! I spent extra money on it and was not diappointed! The white/black color takes soem getting used to but it is worth it the gaming pad is as great as the mouse!
Pretty Great July 10, 2010 qbz23 I'm having problems with the keypad on one of my computers, but i think it is just because I am not the administrator on that computer. Works great, seriously increases your performance. I play wow and i'm not reliant on it. Never have to click a spell... so no time is ever wasted. Really great product that i would recommend to anyone who plays WoW and has 80$ lying around.
Awesome for wow pvp'rs especially new ones July 4, 2010 Alpha numeric honky tonk funk (USA) one thing about wow pvp is you have to keybind all the stuff your gonna use, this little fellah helps you out.Learning keybinds on the keyboard can be tedious and time consuming.I have been using this mouse for bout 5 months , i only use the first 6 but i use my alt key as a modifier so in essence use 12 keys.I have fun in bg's and arena with this mouse as i am able to react as fast as i need to with a simple button press.I mainly kebind my basic abilites to the 1-6 buttons , and then any more special abilities to my alt modifier(alt+ 1-6) I rush around the field like a demon on my prot warrrior pwnning , with all my abilities like shield reflect, shield bash and charge all at the right time and effortlessly.
The wonderful thing is that i still have 6 more buttons to add if i need to and i will in the next few months plus using my control key as an extra modifier for even more flexibility on my healer.
Some addons to use to make this mouse even better are:-(can be downloaded from the curse wow addons website)
--Bartender3 for on the fly easy keybind assignments
--"Help me keybind"--allows you to try out and train with your keybinds even out of combat in the city just relaxing.
The only other item that may go with this though not necessary is the "Belkin n52te Tournament Edition SpeedPad."
If you want to travel with it - DON'T BUY IT!! July 2, 2010 H. Hackett (Atlanta, GA) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm a web designer who was hoping this was a mouse that could travel well to clients, but alas this is not a good mouse for that. First appointment it threw a mouse-fit and would not work at all. I had a great looking mouse that felt great with my long fingers, but would not travel. Back to Best Buy we go.
The Best!! June 30, 2010 Drood 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Over the last four months this mouse has transformed my game! Hate the addon; love the mouse! works fine without the addon, just use Bartender. Only took about three or four hours to get used to the buttons, didn't need the training wheels, now anything else feels wrong. If you are serious about WoW this is the mouse for you. The extra buttons is why everyone buys it, but don't overlook the fact that it is remarkably responsive and accurate, when fighting Sindragosa, I am always the first one in the raid to turn and run out. This mouse rocks!
