This joystick is a replacement for my Logitech which was getting pretty sloppy. It feels precise, and the dual throttles with toggle-like switches are perfect for flight simulation without the bulk of a yoke/rudder pedals. More buttons wouldn't hurt, and perhaps a quad throttle setup would be even better. There's no Mac software for the "multi-function" capability, but the large red two position toggle switch can be used as another set of buttons (I use it to toggle spoilers and run full thrust reversers after landing.)

This prouduct sucks
even though it clearly shows two throttles in the front both separately labeled it does not have dual throttle.
Also when contacting saitek the representative was rude and took a LONG time to get back to me with their response.
I dont know why they would advertise dual throttle for their aviator line of joysticks, and label and build the product for dual throttle when it is not supported
ALSO IT SAYS PC BUT DONT BUY IT IF YOU PLAN ON USING IT FOR PC, in fact save your money and buy another brands product because they will let you
down NOTHING WORKS PROPERLY
BUTTONS ALSO DONT WORK SOMETIMES THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE BEING PRESSED OTHER TIMES THEY STAY HELD DOWN AFTER YOU HAVE RELEASED IT.
SAITEK MUST BE A BUNCH OF RETARDED MORONS. I DONT SEE WHY THEY WOULD MISLEAD THE CONSUMER AS THEY DO WITH THIS PRODUCT.
FIRST THEY SAY IT IS PC COMPATABLE, I GUESS IT WORKS ON THE PC BUT MANY OF ITS FEATURES DO NOT. YET ANOTHER WAY SAITEK GETS YOU TO BUY A MORE EXPENSIVE PRODUCT
SECOND, THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT WAS FOR THE DUAL THROTTLE. THE MODEL PICUTURED SHOWS TWO THROTTLES BOTH SEPERATLY LABELED AND MADE. HOWEVER WHENI GOT IT THE PC ONLY RECONIZED ONE OF THEM.
I REALLY MAKES ME WONDER WHAT SAITEKS INTENTIONS WERE WITH THIS FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTIZING
ITS JUST TOO BAD AMAZON SUCKS AND SAITEK SUCKS AND I PROBABLY WONT GET A REFUND OR EXCHANGE.
HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY I WOULD NOT WORK ESPECIALLY WHEN TOLD THAT THE AVIATOR MODELS HAVE DUAL THROTTLES

The Saitek ps40u is a great joystick when you need both a pc and ps3 stick. As for the pc it is very good for use in fighter type games and has lots of features. You can assign buttons action and in some games others have files already set up. Be careful not to buy the older ps33 model as it is not usable on the ps3.
