Product Description Sony MDR-G57G Street Style(R) S2 Sports Headphones - These headphones take the headband off your head and move it to rest comfortably behind your neck. Though developed for use with all Sony Walkman(R) personal stereo players, they'll deliver top-quality sound from virtually any brand of portable stereo. They're also a good choice for use with an iPod or portable MP3 player, especially on the street. Because these headphones don't fully insulate you from street sounds, they're safer for use in crowded urban areas where certain sounds are alerts to help guarantee your safety. With a secure, non-slip fit, these headphones are ideal for a variety of outdoor (and indoor) sports activities. Superb sound, stressless comfort, outstanding mobility, exceptional freedom - that's the philosophy behind these Street Style(R) S2 Sports Headphones. It makes sense. Bought two - right side went out on both after about 6 months September 8, 2010 Paul Konopacki (Eureka, MO United States) Tried two of these and they both broke in the connection to the right ear piece. There is definately a design flaw. Fits kinda tight, too. Moving on to a different brand.
Worthless a couple months September 6, 2010 Laura (WASHINGTON, DC, US) Right ear stopped working after only a couple months. They lasted just long enough to make it past the return window, now they're worthless. Don't buy.
3 Years and still in love September 4, 2010 Ankur Abhishek I have owned a pair of these from Dec of 2007 and they are still as good as they were on day 1. The sound quality is really awesome. I love the bass it has and feel that it can go heads on with many headphones pricey than this one. Though at times, I get a pin on ear after long use and feel that Sony could do something to make the material more comfortable. Still, I so much like this. Would recommend these to anyone looking for something in this category and price range.
Love it August 4, 2010 NemesisKismet This is the only style of headphones that I actually like using. They're generally comfortable for short term use (which is recommended by doctors anyhow) but not really with glasses though I tough it out. The sound quality is just right and they're very light and portable. I've been using this style for years and the only issue I have really found with them is that, with a lot of use or being "well-loved", the wires inside come loose and it turns into replacement time. No big deal really.
Second Pair I've owned June 28, 2010 Jason S. Moss I had a pair of these for about 6 years and they finally gave out. I run in them and am constantly abusing them. Best headphones I have ever owned.
